What an amazing and delightful wine! Yes, it’s Tintilla, an unusual grape. A dark color, and a fragrant nose, full of dry mountain brush and rocky earth. But the first sip is light and fresh, with fruit and herbs and tobacco. Lots of flavor and tension—light in tannins but lively with acidity. This wine positively sings with food: we were having a salad with a cheese board and it was ideal. Yum!
