Beautiful 7 euro surprised I picked up on my way out of Barcelona. Dark Ruby color, red currants, solid concentration, but lean tannins and good refreshing acid. Will drink again...and go further into Spanish wines. — a month ago
Very reductive on opening! After the barnyard funk blows off, the wine shows nice red fruit, salty minerality and good acidity. — a month ago

Loads of black pepper and dried herbs on the nose. Some black cherry and plum perhaps. Quite savory overall.
Ripe cherry and strawberry start things out with a meaty, peppery mid palate. Tannins are medium and fine with a medium sour cherry and cranberry acidity. Plum skin finishes out the nice finish.
If someone told me this was a Cote du Rhone from a very good producer I would not think twice. Delicious, balanced wine with red fruit and spice in spades. — 5 months ago
Medicinal, Brett, cedar, VA, licorice, low tannins, high acid, medium minus body, medium finish, medium minus concentration/staining, black cherry, black plum, purple flowers. Aged in 100% terra cotta amphora, open vat fermentation. — a month ago
Not normally a fan of Hunter reds but this was exceptional. Lots of berries and oak but well balanced. Would drink again. — 4 months ago

This is actually not a blend. This is 100% Tintilla de Rota; an indigenous red variety to Cadiz. As a retired Naval Officer, I’m quite familiar with this area and more familiar with its sherry! This was a real surprise to me. The wine is 13.5% abv and well balanced. I really want to drink this with a steak! Replace that Cab or Malbec and try this! Cherry, blackberry, and pepper nose and flavors. This is a very well made wine by this Director of oenology at Univ of Cadíz. — 3 months ago
