Deep ruby in color. Blackberries and a hint of black pepper on the nose, maybe a hint of tobacco. Medium to high tannins, medium to low acidity. Tastes like Blackberries and plums, with hints of black pepper. A little tart with a long finish. Great with savory food. Nellie likes it too.

Picked this up at World Market and a pleasant surprise. Solid bouquet, good stuff structure, and a mildly forward vanilla, maybe chocolate. Decent supper. Better with some Italian dish. Heck, the dog’s interested.
