Nov 15th, 2016Wow!!!! VanDuzer pinot noir 2013 from Willamette Valley Oregon. Those amazing soils in Oregon do it again! I love this pinot noir. The color is light and the legs are thick and quick to run. The tannins are a bit strong for a pinot noir until decanted for 30 minutes. The bouquet is strawberry jam! The initial palate is cherries and spice. The finish is strawberry and cherry again with a twist of lime. Try it and see if you don't agree. For 23.00 US dollars it is absolutely incredible! I usually have to spend at least 30 for a pinot noir of this caliber!
cheers!
