Apr 17th, 2017Really enticing nose... Oaky palate. Not bad, I just wish the oak was a bit more restrained.

A bit dilute compared with other vintages. Great aromas, finesse on the entry, but a tad thin in the mid palate. Finishes bright with a little burn.

More spice and less full fruit character than Central/Gibbston expression.. nose says plum but palate is dominated by Sour cherry giving freshness. Tasted back to back with the Etna, this lost bigtime.
