The nose is very intense with cherry notes, some almond, some tar and leather even? This is very deep and very inviting. The palate feels very young, with a great acid drive, some width and matter on the sides, a very vivid mouthfeel, almost electrical, before some very dry and even more drying tannins in mid palate, that I could have mistaken for nebbiolo tannins blind, given their dryness and liveliness. The finish is all fruit, and that drying layer. There is almost an umamo touch in the end, making it you want to pour yourself another glass despite the sheer acidity and the harsh tannins. Organic wine. It's a food wine and it's probably an infanticide but I enjoyed it anyway.
