Great red blend from Portugal (and Costco for $6.99!). Red fruits, a little oak, mild tannins, and leaning dry. What a great surprise including Aragonez and Trincadeira which I have no familiarity.

Bold fruit. Loads of mixed berry. Moderate body with a tart fruit driven acidity. Hubby loved it because of the acidity, I found it off putting at first but it’s so tannic that it helped cut that acidic bite as it opened up.

Tasty. Had with Portuguese pasta. Opaque Ruby color. Vanilla, leather, and dark fruit on the nose. Medium bodied, quite acidic with a bite that lingers at the end.
