I read a book review on the (un)importance of terroir in wine making. This wine is allegedly the product of Hill Wine Co that pilfered the 1% of yields from well established and renowned vineyards.
Despite being stolen from great vineyards, this is unremarkable wine. It is remarkably dark in the glass. Muted nose. Tannins are a touch rough. Forgettable.
(@Bill Bender, this illicit wine is for you!)

Dec 7th, 2016I enjoyed this wine. Is originally from the Jeff Hill estate and had to be re labeled because they don't know where the grapes came from. None the less got this one from invino and enjoyed it with JP

Nov 26th, 2015Wonderful deep dark scent. Dry, heavy cab drop. Do I taste orange peel? Cherry taste, smooth finish
