Great nose. Somewhat thin, with aspects of traditional Gewurtztraminer, only muted. Also perhaps a hint of bret. This is the LaCroix of gewurtztraminer! With 40 days on skins I’d expect a bigger wine...perhaps it needs to open up.

This bottle was shared by some friends. At first, I was really intrigued by this wine. The extended skin contact gave it a bigger frame and a slightly funky bouquet. But my palate grew weary before I even finished a glass. It’s was simply too floral and too sweet. It actually came across overly manipulated though I really know nothing about the winemaking going on here.
