Dry. Mineral. £8.50 for a Chablis -- no complaints! Tantalizing mineral nose with a bit of melon and golden apple. Bright but not obnoxious on the palate, very crisp, and noticeably tannic. The creamy mineral blooms nicely with each sip, and follows through to the finish. A little dry for sipping by itself, but that's an observation not a complaint. This is what I was hoping for at this price point - plenty to enjoy, but an off taste in the background nonetheless.
