An opulent and very CA type Cab. Has all the boxes of Napa Cab checked. Full bodied, rich, balanced, fairly complex although I was hoping for more of that. It’s good enough. Enjoyable and tasty Cab. I can’t say I was stunned (as I hoped I might’ve been). It’s not as elegant and delicious as the StagsLeap Cellars I had once upon a time. As an aside I once worked at this place. It’s definitely a stunning beautiful place to grow grapes. And I was happy to finally try the wine made from them.
