Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Nice aromas and flavors of black fruit, spices and forest floor. Quite savory, fresh and lively. Nicely extended finish. Excellent balance and well structured. Alcohol is in check and there is an elevated level of acidity. Not what I expected.
