White pepper, caramel, and just ripe strawberries on the nose. Pretty and seamless on the palate with pleasant tartness that works well with food.

Bright candied cherry, coriander, sandalwood, five spice, black pepper. Vibrant and fruit driven. Ben Cane getting it done in 2012.

I'll have to try this again some time. Not sure if it was a bad bottle, but I was not impressed.

A gorgeous, bright nose of red cherries, cassis plum and black raspberries with just a whiff of oak. Elegant, soft and juicy on the palate. Forward flavors of ripe cherries and plum lead to notes of black earth and pepper with just enough bright acidity to keep it balanced. The time in bottle seems to be showing in those secondary earth notes. The finish is extremely long and bright with notes of sour cherries and just another touch of earth. Coq au Vin here we come!
