I’ve never really loved California Pinots but this may just change my mind. Light garnet color with ruby undertones. Really fun nose with smoke, oak, cloves, rose petals, and dried blackberries. Medium bodied but quite deft and light on her feet, the Two Sisters has smooth tannins and a plush mouthfeel. I mentioned oak but this thing is no oak bomb. Tart cherries, strawberries, a touch of the aforementioned oak, and wet rocks. The minerality notes continue on to the finish along with some spice. A really pretty Pinot.
