Tagged “Proprietor’s Reserve,” the wine is entirely from the small Last Chance vineyard and is a numbered bottle. Mine was Number 48. Pale garnet; pronounced intensity aromas of black cherry, fresh herbs, violets, High acidity, low velvety tannin, sour cherry, violet, very clean lingering finish. outstanding quality. Will improve with further age but delicious now. A stunning wine.

33% whole cluster, native ferment, 11 months in 25% new barrel. Pretty, citrusy, tart tomato/cherry. Oak restrained. Med acid, med smooth tannns.

Nice light cherry color with a slight Browning on the rim. Soft tannins and subtle amounts of oak with good integration. Even with 30% new oak.

Loving the wines from Alexandra at the moment.

2010 this was a struggle on first opening big flavours with strong oak and red berries primarily raspberry but things did settle, after some air certainly a substantive drop and no shrinking violet. A man burgundy needing some wild pork or pheasant to balance the palette. Congrats 🇨🇰

Bloody fantastic . Pure fruit smooth and mouth filling. But I fear this might just be starting to turn. Maybe? I better start drinking the rest of the 2010 in my cellar!
