Nice purple red with a bit of a burgundian edge; quite dense. Very desirable funky aromas of sour cream and mushrooms, mixed with pommegranate. Very simple development on the palate, but quite harmonious, showing pinotage characteristics, medium to full body, and flavors of currant and chamboir, and not much else. Truthful and pleasant quaffer for a very low, low price. 84 pts.
