I met Michael Twelftree and he was telling me about his project of making very small scale wines from old vines and creating Twelftree Wines. Michael also runs Two Hands and makes some outstanding wines. Deep red with complex floral, fruit and spice aromas. On the palate ripe plum flavors with baking spices, pepper and nutty notes. Soft tannins, a little drying, overall good balance, nice length on mineral finish. perfect now!
