I met Michael Twelftree and he was telling me about his project of making very small scale wines from old vines and creating Twelftree Wines. Michael also runs Two Hands and makes some outstanding wines. Deep red with complex floral, fruit and spice aromas. On the palate ripe plum flavors with baking spices, pepper and nutty notes. Soft tannins, a little drying, overall good balance, nice length on mineral finish. perfect now!

Another New Red from Michael T of Two Hands Fame! This 2013 a first for me is wonderful. Grenache Mataro (Mourvèdre in the states) comes across with soft tannins big bright fruit, fresh and aromatic., This was the first of 3 New Wines brought by the Master, Twelftree. Thanks MT! We liked this a lot. Grenache dominant but that bass is nothing but Mataro. Long and deep flavours. Beautiful complexity and deft oak. Serious wine
