Napa Valley Red Blend

Enjoyable! Big. Enough fruit to keep my drinking companion happy but enough tannin (and not a fruit bomb) so I was happy.

The label calls it “bold red wine” psh I’ve had bolder. This is a fruit juice play.

Light berries, smooth, very little tannins, nice drinking with Beatles music in the park with my honey.

Blended vino.

Bright and clean, medium medium plus color intensity, deep garnet. On the nose, medium intensity, red cherry, black olive, some permanent marker notes, dark chocolate, blackberry, touch of cedar or pencil shavings. On the palate, warming sense of alcohol, medium plus body, grippy tannins, short finish, medium acidity. Well made, mid priced, needs food

Nice after aeration.

Pretty good. Had this with pork scaloppine with plum sauce. The fruit flavors went well together.

Fistleaf club very interesting rich like a cab; didn't like the smell pretty good tannins 14.5% alcohol

Room temp, first open: deep, fruity, sweet but still has a good bite.
