Aida Vineyard Petite Syrah

Elegantly brooding. Smooth darkness.

First vintage Aida Petite. Drinking great

Took a couple hours to open up. Still some fine tannin, but things are pretty nicely resolved with a good balance of fruit and earthy notes. 13.7% alc. Drinking at peak and quite a treat.

Funky, earthy, mature, still has plenty of dark fruit, tannin for days - still.

Siiiiick. Magnum. So good. Such meaty life. So savory. Much umami.

Last fallen soldier from last night. Still young, always excellent (in magnum).

Rich Petit Syrah served at dinner with friends in Wellesley

Color dark with no bricking. Bought on release. Balanced with good mouth feel and long finish. Mostly black fruit overtones. Drinking very well.

As expected. Big and bold but not over powering. Remarkable.
