Deep dark, extracted color of night. Smells like cream, berries and rocks. Flavors are excellent. Woodsy, fruit-full, robust. This is a wine that goes great with food. I had strong cheese with crackers. Washed down great.

Quite fulsome. Plummy, deep. Would have been great with beef, but still enjoyed very much. Alcohol a bit high.

Dec 2nd, 2018Rich and almost overpowering stuff. Prune and fresh plums on the nose. More prune and cherry-apple cider in the mouth. Plenty of oak too. Nice, just not supple enough for me.
