Kalecik Karası

Lavender, floral, cherry.... pungent and lovely, though quite short

Ah Kalecik Karasi, how I have missed thee. Bright alpine strawberry and red currant give way to forest floor and wet stone scraped with leathery tannins.

Bright, fresh, tart and cheery. Excellent foodish Turkish

More of the light, lovely, Kalecik Karasi. Tried one with some years on it, but it’s still fresh picked cherries and raspberries. Gonna pick one up to cellar.

Very impressed. Turkey makes good wine too.

Notes of strawberry and black pepper, wonderfully light and fruity.

Ruby red, strawberries, rhubarb, black currant- delicate and smooth flavors.

A little acidic at first, taste like "medicinal", sulfuric .

Watery, oddly dry, and too high in acid. A perfect sangria wine, but not for drinking on its own.

Beautiful raspberry color, bright, some tannins. Quite yummy!
