This cannot be purely a pinot noir. It's way too dark and while the nose is a very Californian pinot, the palate suggests zinfandel with its super jammy fruits and easy drinkability. I like it, don't get me wrong, but it's not a pinot noir.

This is one of the best Pinot noirs we have drank. Tastes like it was aged in fresh oak. Really great wine for only $25 when on sale at Total Wine. We drank a 2014.

This is a fine wine if you want a decent, crowd pleasing red. If you are a Pinot noir enthusiast, move along.

A nice Pinot. Not remarkable, but good. Tastes more like a cab blend.

A pinot that thinks it's a syrah. Big and lush, nicely balanced, but grab this when you want a syrah or zin, not a French pinot.

Good, but like the wine maker's previous creation, Meomi, it's really bold for a Pinot. Doesn't taste as headachy as Meomi.

From the Belle Glos winemakers. Ruby with aromas of red fruit and spice. The palate shows red fruit, raspberry and strawberry with pepper spice. The wine was medium body and finishes with toasty oak notes, about medium in length. Not as good as 2013, but still ok. Tasting Sample.
