Holy shit. One of the best Napa Cabs I have tasted. Elegant and holding back, yet very open. This wine is showing such grown up aromatics with a slew of subtle spices, tobacco and dark fruits. Every time I smelled this wine, a new aromatic arrived. Long and mouthwatering finish made me want to pick up the glass again and again. What a treat. Didn't think I was going to be so into it because many 2007's are too soft for me. Not the case here.

This is the GREEN mockingbird and it jumped from the glass with fruit. A mixed bag that mostly leaned black and blue not red. Good density and full bodied. Tannins were behind it and the fruit shined. Paired well with charcuterie board, pate, and steak tartare

Wow. One of the most memorable Napa cabs I've had in a while. To Kalon fruit at 10 years, tannins fully settled, smoothness and fully integrated. From Double Magnum.

A little hot on the entry and nose but levels off with some time out of bottle. With 5 years on it, there's plenty of time to integrate the vibrant fruit core and tannin. Restrained use of oak will pay dividends for those that wait
