Mother’s Day sweet

Lovely complement to round 2 of the Peking Duck taste off in Beijing. Better than Chateau Great Wall although not quite as adventurous ;-)

Very dry.

Very nice Super Tuscan. Brings you back to Italy. Recognized it was a Super on the many, but not labeled as such, so it was priced reasonably for a change.

This was a very good bottle of wine.

Intense, deep purple. Fruit and alcohol on the nose. Fruity sweet note gives way to a subtle graphite note. Tannins sensed toward the end. Very smooth. Unfiltered. 14% alcohol. Super Tuscan. IGT. 50% Sangiovese and a 50% blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Bella!
