Tsantali
The Land of Xinomavro Naoussa
Definitely needs let out of the bottle for awhile! Once it is able to breathe, it starts to smooth out, lose the rough edges and become quite drinkable especially after starting to pair it with traditional Greek flavors i.e., Gyro meat, Mediterranean Rice, pita bread and even feta cheese. The flavors are very much like dried tart cherries, raspberries and even some strawberry overtones. For a good meal of Greek comfort food, it is a great companion beverage.

Mar 3rd, 2018Scent of roasted herbs and earth with tobacco and coffee aromas. A bit strained though. The wine is aged 12 months in oak barrels. It should be left another couple of years in the cellar. Dry on the palate, the tannins need more time.
