This Virginia Cabernet Sauvignon is surprisingly good! Big cherry and vanilla (cream soda) aromas and flavors. Hints of dried herbs and green pepper (not overwhelming) on the finish. Balanced acidity and smooth tannins. Was not expecting much from a Virginia Cab (Bottle claims Estate Grown from the Monticello AVA) but this wine is well made. An extremely pleasant surprise.
