My b'day wine and wow what a nice surprise! This wine comes off a little Bordeaux-ish on the nose, but after a half hour or so really smooths out and that lush napa flavoring comes out. Layers of dark, racy fruit and sweet oak. This wine had perfect acidity for me with nice, graceful tannins. Well balanced with a real smooth finish. I liked this one a lot!

Better than some of the more expensive Cabs I've had. This paired beautifully with braised short rib, pasta and was even balanced enough for a delegate cheesecake desert.
