Medium to dark garnet, nose of wet earth and wood. Medium body, smooth with hints of dark plum & black berry/cherry. Low even tannins and mildly acidic. Better with more air-

Big plum and blackberry fruit. Very smoky on the nose. A bit hot, but not intolerable. Chewy tannins. Acceptable for the price.

I didn’t expect much and got a little bit more. But its not always a bad thing It’s also fairly young and tight. So I am at a hot dog / pulled pork sandwich place so I expect this to match what I am eating and it surely does. Licorice and fairly tannic.
