Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, alcohol, cola, leather, light barnyard, light green vegetables, herbs, chocolates, black pepper and spices.

Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, dark chocolates, vinaigrette, spices and peppercorn.

Medium plus on the finish with very soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This Malbec blend from Mendoza is still drinking nicely, although it is over the hill by now. Still balanced with nice complexity and a great mouthfeel.

Needs 30 minutes to open up properly. Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a cheese plate and light appetizers.

14% alcohol by volume.

This Mendoza Malbec blend is peaking now with nice complexity and a velvety mouthfeel. Balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food.

I opened it for 3 hours before the meal, and I think 60 minutes should have worked better.

Very nice color of deep ruby with a short reddish rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, sweet plums, blueberries, currants, alcohol, peppercorn, spices, pencil lead, earth, wood, vegetables, vinaigrette spices and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, earth, plums, oak, chocolates, light vanilla, tar, vegetables, herbs, spices and black pepper.

Medium on the finish with firm tannins and tart cranberries.

This Argentinian Malbec Blend is still young. Needs 2 more years in the bottle to mature and loosen up. Still unbalanced with nice complexity and a tangy ending.

Better after 2 hours in a decanter.

Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, earth, green vegetables, herbs, dark chocolates, earth, leather, smoke and spices.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and nice long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked strawberries, earth, leather, bell pepper, oak, vanilla, licorice, sage, vegetables, bitter herbs and black pepper.

Medium finish with green tannins and peppercorn.

This Argentinian Malbec Blend is still young, and needs 2 years in the bottle to mature. Now it is unbalanced, but shows complexity potential with spicy nose and palate. It feels like the different flavors are not fully integrated. Time will fix that.

Better after 2 hours of airtime, but drinkable right out of the bottle.

An Argentinian blend of Malbec, Charbono (Bonarda) and Syrah (79%, 11%, 10%). Great depth of color. Nice clean, fruity fragrance, with plentiful black fruit on the pallet, well balanced with acidity and soft tannin. A nice sipping wine, but can be easily paired with a meaty meal. $14.99.
