Rich, gutsy and full with notes of thyme and rosemary accenting the black raspberry, plum and wild strawberry fruit. The palate had richness of red fruit and a great mineral streak that wraps the nicely resolved tannins.

Well-knit. Flavors a bit purple for my taste but solidly undergirded by mineral. Hard to read the structure but could be great fun in 4-5 years.

Very nice Priorat from a top producer. Rich and full of fruits, tannins, and mouthwatering acidity.

Licorice, vanilla, black fruit, perfume, candy on the nose. Ripe red fruit, oak, licorice on the palate. Moderate to high acid, grippy tannin, astringency draws the palate a fair bit. Warming alcohol but not particularly hot...more like 14.5 than the 14% alc. declared. That'll drink. I still prefer cooler climate Grenache.
