This has one of those brilliant, well polished high def née world wine noses.

Subtle fruit, yet so perfect the aroma.

A touch of salinity leads to classic Cab fruit, that hint of almond, those delicately placed petals on the palette, persimmon in the end game, with minty acidity and well focused tannin.
I’d say this wine has come together perfectly with time.

You can tell by the nose how the wine will be..

Focused fruit wrapped in eucalyptus wafts.
The Aroma matches the beginning of the Wines flavors, medium bodied, gravel, Tobacco, blackberry, cherry stem, (You tie enough of them, you get the taste) black pepper - which seems to be a theme for this winery- and cara cara orange acidity, with a firm tannic finish.
Classy wine.

This vintage was 49% Cab Franc filled in with Merlot and Cab Sauv. Roasted cooking herbs and an incredibly complex nose. Palate was excellently balanced with refinement.

This is not the same as the wine mentioned leads with Cabernet Sauvignon 40% Merlot 30% Cabernet Franc 29% and 1% Petit Verdot - with that out of the way - nice restrained currants and blackberry fruit oak background somewhat young ( Hawkes Bay GI ) tannins medium to medium plus like to have this in a 3-4 year ax
