Aug 4th, 2016Great structure. This wine smacks you in the face with flavor. Plum, blackberry, black cherry, chocolate, cinnamon, very tiny bit of smoke. It's complex and it all melds together perfectly. Paired great with spaghetti bolognese. We are buying more of this wine!!!

Nov 16th, 2022Feels like it’s over engineered. But still pleasant balance of fruit and aromas. Light on tannins and structure. A little too sweet, almost a desert wine. Would be popular at family gatherings. Would get again. 18.95 at lawc.

Big flavor up front. More complexity with time. Delightful! We compared 2010 vintage with the 2007 vintage. They were the same up front, but ‘07 became more glycerol and complex with time than 2010 bottle, so the newer editions should be even better in a couple more years!
