Former Wine Steward for Zed451. I am currently collecting wines and trying new bottles all the time!
Blackberry, blueberry, pepper and vanilla. It's a rich wine, well structured with medium tannin. Would pair wonderfully with chocolate. — 5 years ago
Golden straw color, great texture and broad on the palate. Honeysuckle, white nectarine, minerality, lemon and limestone. Very nice paired with tuna steaks. — 5 years ago
Cherry and smoke. A medium bodied wine that paired well with the pastitchio. — 5 years ago
This is drinking very well. Deep ruby color with medium tannin and lively acidity. Raspberries, tarragon, pepper and cinnamon. A little brambly, mild oak, with a slightly sweet finish. — 5 years ago
Great structure. This wine smacks you in the face with flavor. Plum, blackberry, black cherry, chocolate, cinnamon, very tiny bit of smoke. It's complex and it all melds together perfectly. Paired great with spaghetti bolognese. We are buying more of this wine!!! — 5 years ago
This wine is a Spanish blend that really showcases the Garnacha beautifully. Tannins are a little strong but the rich food mellowed them out. Full bodied and chewy with flavors of blackberry, slate, plum, blueberry, chocolate, and a little floral (violet) on the backend. — 5 years ago
Red berries, currants, blackberries, cinnamon, pepper, dark spice on the finish. The wine is smooth and has a lot going on with it. While it doesn't all tie in tidily, it's interesting to drink and sort of charming in its own way. Drank while watching A Good Year, which I find ironic because this movie is about a French winery. We're a little off theme... — 5 years ago
