Plum, black cherry and cherry cordial on the nose...spice cake too. Herbal and blackberry notes on the front palate but a very dense and flavor packed mid palate through finish of cassis, and rhubarb tart. Still tannic. No rush here.

Sweet smokey tobacco. Nicosia olive notes and black currant. Medium body. Somewhat disappointing.

Awesome well balanced merit age! Deep dark fruit mild tannins with a nice long finish! Always a great choice!

Typical Napa but with a bit of flair. I'd recommend this to someone torn between Bordeaux and Napa.

When Jeremy Clarkson says "powaaah!" He could be talking about this Meritage. Dark fruits wrapped in powerful tannins. Would pair well with a beast of a ribeye, me thinks -- Wineshout.com

Drinks more like a Cab, than a blend. Give it time to breath. Yummy!

Unexpected gem. Earthy, good mouth feel. Really enjoyed. Let breathe for two hours

Great wine, but this is off the list after my 2001 Delheim Cab Sauv that I brought from the cellar (from South Africa) was corked. Rettke - you know this wine....this is one of the wines we had hoped was ok : (
