Réserve Alsace Riesling

Love it when one of the best vintages of the decade is substantially discounted. Thank you, US Consumer; please continue to be clueless regarding Alsace. Thank you.

Even on Day 2 the reductive character inhibited full expression. Probably needs 3-5 more years to open.

2008. Nice nose of toast, kerosene and lime juice. Some white flowers. Palate seems un evolved with searing acidity.

Pretty awesome!

Extremely good quality for the price. It's still fresh and well balanced. Very food friendly.

Must have got a bad bottle- all I could taste was nail polish remover.
