Alsace Gewürztraminer

Nice Nose very aromatic with tropical fruit. It has a heavy mouthfeel, with peach and spice. Decent finish, became better the more it was open.

Creamy like a chardonnay, but flavor profile of a sauv blanc. Strong sour and green apple, very tart. Takes many sips to fully taste this wine, but a good wine for this varietal.

Nice citrus, light a little petrol, crisp finish. A favorite Gewürztraminer

Grapefruit on the nose and lychee on the palette. Floral. Semi sweet

Aromatic, strong aroma of flowers, sweet, peach, fruity.

This wine was so good for the price! Makes me want to eat a citrus tart.

2012 Vintage.

Kaffir lime leaf, orange blossom, lemon peel, orange peel, new car smell or just the little fragrances for cars. Lychee tea, passion fruit. Off dry. Aside from the obvious floral and fruit components noted, I can't ignore the long finish of over ripened/mealy red apple. Nice acidity balances it out though.

There IS wine that goes with Asian food!
