Calatayud Garnacha

Very good garnacha. Dark fruit notes with peppery finish.

A good introduction to the Calatayud region, the acidity is held in balance.

A good garnacha with some homemade grilled paella. It's almost like we are still in Spain.

Practically free (ok, $8), and nothing but pleasurable to drink. This the Rosado, 50% Garnacha, 50% Tempranillo.

Delicious jammy fruity, peppery. Alcohol level not too noticeable.

Black tart dark cherries budget Spanish wine

So-so. Not much flavor. Dry and tannic. Better the 2nd day, opened up. But not great.

2013 vintage. This wine never really woke up for me. No flavors really came forth and it was just sort of a bland drink
