Solid wine - very generous & expressive aromas of plums, blackberry compote, mulberry, licorice, wet clay and Earth. Fairly rigid tannins, big full bodied, voluptuous and lots of ripe black fruit on mid-palate. Finish was not as long or persistent as expected. Could benefit w/some age
