2012 vintage. Quite structured, considering its age and price. Dark blackberry, black plum, cassis, dark chocolate, laurel, marjoram, clove, graphite, cedar. Lots of spice and firm tannins make for a burly expression of Merlot.

Feb 2nd, 2019Ripe crushed red plum and barrel spice up front. Sweet leather/balsamic and cedar notes. Ripe, plummy, and chocolatey on the palate, finishes a bit hot and empty.

Jul 6th, 2015Well, I just ate a plum and have to agree that there is some real plum flavor in this wine. It's quite good with aged cheddar and nuts. The spice and ripe berries go well with blue cheeses too. Very easy to drink with lower alcohol and low tannins.
