Deep purple color. Delicate hints of violet, baking spices, on the nose. Velvety stewed plums, cassis, blackberry, herbaceous, slight spiciness. Long finish with medium plus tannins. The fruit is there but seems held back yet. This could age for several more years and get even better. Perfect with Lamb Bolognese!
