Vigna Rocca Secco Albana di Romagna

The first white wine Docg of Italy! Beautiful ripe stone fruit, solid mid palate long finish, you gotta love ❤️ orange 🍊 wine!

Crisp and dry with a lot of stone fruits present . Nice mouthfeel. Refreshing.

Albana di Romagna

おそらく初めて飲む品種アルバーナのオレンジワイン。
香りはオレンジワイン感がしっかりあるが、味わいはドライでタンニンも控えめ。

スルメイカで色々ペアリングチャレンジは、塩焼きはイマイチで、照り焼き、肝醤油ともに白ワインよりはありだけど、合ってるかと言われたら微妙…※２日目ならあったかもしれない


2日目はかなりオレンジワインらしさがアップ。
味わいはあっさりだが、香りの華やかさがいい感じ。
最初からこれならかなりいいと思うが。

ちなみに、グラタンにはちょっと物足らない。
やっぱり、グラタン、ホワイトソースには樽の要素なんだろうなと。

いつものバーモントカレーの甘口（ルーのみ）にはあった。ルーの甘さと余韻の長さがピッタリだった。

First 2024 wine!! This is really excellent - haven’t had this grape (albana) before. Orange but in the way that I like - no overly “natural” funk and instead just excellent stony fruit and some great grip. Very juicy and almost savory with a long finish. Great value at $22.

So good! Kind of orange wine. Center is orange color. Slight oak. A bit sweet, slight tannic and spices from grape skin. Balanced sweetness and sourness. First one of orange wine I feel good. Marmalade. Vigna rocca albana secco 21 @3400, Dmar JH, 231008-231021
