First go with Gattinara and very pleased. A bit lighter than some other Piedmontese neighbors but nice dark fruits and earthy tones. Held up well with our Steak Florentine

Aromas: marzipan, blood, rust, aluminum, cranberry, dogrose, red currant, olives, tomatoes, lacquer.
Well balanced with medium acidity.
