Trapiche
Mendoza Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark deep ruby in color with a light ruby rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, plums, cherries, oak, metals, vanilla, licorice, cloves, tobacco leaf, spices, graphite and peppercorn.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Fruity and dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, earth, leather, green vegetables, coffee, tobacco, wood, licorice, spices, graphite, tar, sage and peppercorn.
Spicy finish with soft tannins and black pepper.
A nice everyday Cabernet from Argentina. Drinking nicely now but will get more complexity in a few years.
Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Simple and enjoyable by itself or with food.
I paired it with Argentinian beef enchiladas. A great Happy hour wine for $5 a glass.
13% alcohol by volume.

Very good for the price. Complex and bold.
