Drinking several shades better than any 9-year-old WA barbera has any business drinking. Plenty of life still ahead. Delicious with pasta alla vodka tonight.

High acid & sappy red fruit. They are no longer making this wine which is a shame as Barbera works great in Washington, but is understandably hard to sell. Wonderfully bright and fresh. The record is a great one from Rahsaan Roland Kirk. Side one is experimental to an almost ambient degree in parts, while side two feels more straightforward, but has some frankly insane rhythmic interplay between percussion & horn.

Big grape flavor, earthy. Less acid-driven than I’d expect from a Barbera

Brad Tvedt made a good call on this wine. Who thought an Italian grape would thrive in Washington state?
