Loved this surprisingly hefty Pinot. They call it a Black Pinot. Tastes of plum, boysenberry, and generally very fruity. Thickness reminded me of some other blends. An excellent wine for the price.

Surprisingly good for the price. Jammy lots of body for a Pinot. Tastes like a Pinot / Merlot blend. Would definitely buy again.

“Black” is right, that’s for sure. Flavor upon opening is full, fruity (cherry, etc.), with a mild bite. A little short on the palate. Tasted 20 May 2022 Drink the entire bottle immediately upon opening … it has absolutely no staying power — within an hour the wine’s flavor turns to pure jam. From Trader Joe’s.
