Another odd wine for me tonight. I’m striking out here! First thing on the palate was bacon, then cow manure. Very earthy on the nose. However, I do like the tannins and dark fruit. Let’s see if this one opens up. 🤷‍♀️

Lot # 100. Nice dark color. Nose: dark cherry, coffee (mild, light roast), a little wintergreen. Promising. Taste: a lot plummier than the nose would suggest, distinct overripe raspberry, still some mint but darker - mild chocolate mint - and tobacco. Interesting and not bad at all. 89.
