This wine has more of a yellow tint than I would expect from an unoaked Chardonnay. The nose is clean, though. Brilliant aromas of flowers, pears, peaches and apples come through with nary a trace of wood aging. The palate is rich and full, with fruit flavors dominating. Acidity is fresh and zippy, and nearly razor sharp. The fruit lasts on the finish and the wine is a perfect match for seafood, white sauce pasta or chicken.

Flavors of bruised fruit. This wine is barely hanging on.

Crisp and restrained, this disguised Castoro Cellars Chard is full of bright floral flavors.

Very, very good for $4.99 at TJ’s! Apples and pears on the nose. Crisp, clean well rounded palette with a fairly long fruity finish. This unoaked Chardonnay was quite the nice surprise!

Color of bubbly gold. Nose of roasted nuts, ripe pineapple, ripe mango with pear, a bit citrusy and a bit honey. Nose is sweet, ripe, and warm. Pretty good nose. Taste on the other hand is a bit light, with flowering note, zest, a bit spicy, and hint of ripe tropical fruits. Aftertaste is also a bit light and dominant by the zest. Quite a shame and the nose is definitely awesome.

Not great, kinda tastes like nothing, HOWEVER, it’s easy drinking. Would buy this for a low key week day wine.
