All hail $3 Buck Chuck. Peaches and a whisper of smoke. Crisp acidity cleaned the palate after bites of pesto-glazed pasta. But a bit too sweet to be balanced.
Wasn’t disappointed that there was some left over to drink after cooking with it. Not a bad wine for the price of bottled water, but lacked any of the expected fruit from a Sauv Blanc. I’ll go back to my NZ favorites, but this was worth a try. Just for cooking next time.
