Jan 10th, 2022Day 3 and this has just extended and expanded its wings. As it has evolved over the weekend, notes of butterscotch and raw cane sugar emerge. Such a wonderful expression of the valley, which many can afford to indulge.

Aug 30th, 2021Monday night, and I truly lost the no-mid-week drinking plot.
This is excellent. Oily, viscous and dense. Almonds and marzipan on the nose. Palate is so sexy, with indiscernible oak treatment and opulent sweetness. I immediately went online and purchased more - outstanding.

This is excellent. Oily, viscous and dense. Almonds and marzipan on the nose. Palate is so sexy, with indiscernible oak treatment and opulent sweetness. I immediately went online and purchased more - outstanding.
The 2019 TOR ‘Twelve Barrels’ Chardonnay shows up brightly once in the glass. Heady aromatics of bananas foster and ripe nectarine combine with baking spice infused Challah bread and shades of wild mushroom on this beautiful bouquet. Once on the mouth you experience an utterly seamless effect as this beautiful wine effortless glides across the mid-palate. Layers of banana and pineapple are woven together with minerals, damp earth and sourdough bread tones. The gratifying length here adds to the enjoyment. Gorgeous to savor in its youth, this outstanding new bottling will provide drinking enjoyment for at least another decade. Drink 2021-2035- 95
